About the project
Franscale is the franchise recruitment CRM we designed and built from scratch for UK franchisors. The brief was sharp: build the CRM the franchise sector should always have had — one that uses the language of franchise recruitment from day one, handles ten franchise-specific pipeline stages, scores prospects on what actually predicts a signed franchisee, and catches territory conflicts before two prospects are promised the same patch. Live, in production, with real franchisors recruiting on it.
What we delivered
- End-to-end custom CRM platform, designed and developed from a blank slate
- Ten franchise-specific pipeline stages (New enquiry → Discovery → Due Diligence → FDD → Validation → Agreement → Signed)
- Six-dimension weighted lead scoring (financial fit, timeline, motivation, experience, engagement, territory) with auto-cooling stale-penalty logic
- Interactive UK territory map with conflict detection on every new enquiry
- Public, multi-step enquiry forms hosted on customer-owned URLs with bot protection
- Stage-triggered email automation with branded HTML, merge fields and per-template reporting
- Tasks & calendar with daily 7am digest emails and colour-coded month view
- Reports & analytics — lead volume, conversion funnel, source performance, stage velocity, lost-reason breakdowns, all CSV-exportable
- GDPR-compliant by design — UK-hosted, Article 15 one-click exports, cascading Article 17 erasure, full audit log

Why it works
HubSpot, Salesforce and Pipedrive are excellent tools — for selling software. They're awkward for franchise recruitment, where the workflow looks nothing like a B2B sales pipeline and the data model needs territory awareness, FDD disclosure tracking, and validation-stage rules. Franscale was designed around how franchisors actually work, with every label, every stage, every report tuned to the sector. The result: franchisors using it report being live in days rather than weeks, and lead-to-signed conversion that generic tools couldn't measure properly in the first place.
